The Minerva Firefighters Selection Unit allows you to undertake retained and whole-time recruitment within your own service. The selection unit incorporates all the necessary equipment to carry out the National Firefighters Selection Tests which will allow you to take the assessment unit to where they are needed.
The POD is a self-contained unit built on a standard ‘Prime Mover’ demountable sub-frame so it can be stored at a ‘home’ location ready to be moved (using New Dimension – Prime Movers) to wherever it is required to conduct recruitment and selection tests.
We have designed the Selection Unit to be operated and deployed easily by only two personnel therefore reducing running and set up costs. Once in position at the desired location the POD only takes approximately 10 minutes to completely set up. The POD comes with a retractable awning and ample storage space to carry any ancillary equipment. It can be used to conduct a cage ‘crawl’ exercise and hose reel scenario. It has an in built diesel generator, washing and tea making facilities, P.A. system with radio microphone, in built TV with DVD player along with internet connection. The Selection Unit requires very little maintenance and has no expensive parts to replace.
