The Mobile Carbonaceous Unit (MCU) is a fully integrated system with patented fire technology. They are available in single room compartments as well as multiple rooms. The MCU is a self-contained training unit which can be easily transported to any location to conduct fire training. This makes it incredibly convenient to train students as it saves on travel and accommodation costs.
Our Class A fire ensures we can deliver a highly realistic environment without the need for LPG fuel. Therefore drivers of the MCU’s are not required to hold an ADR Licence. Also, developed alongside the Mobile Carbonaceous Unit will be our unique Mobile Filtration Unit. This unit takes the smoke and fumes from the carbonaceous units, and after filtration returns unpolluted air into the atmosphere, reducing the organisations carbon footprint and of course ensuring they are considerate neighbours.
This unique Mobile Filtration system enables your fire and rescue service to maintain hostile conditions within real fire training simulators delivering full fire behaviour and crib conditions. This unit will offer live fire training in a fully tested and proven environment, but taken to destinations where this type of training in the past has been impossible.
Possible training scenarios could include:
Dimensions: 12m (L) x 2.4m (W) x 3m (H).
Unit is fully insulated.
Insulated burn end 2.4m x 3m.
Four zone PLC data logger temperature monitoring.
Internal compartment swing-out partitions to configure multi-rooms.
Storage of exercise ladder.
Unique integrated ducting to allow connection to filtration unit.
Fibrous concrete floor.
Access steps and platforms fully integrated in unit.
