The project of building and installing a fully operational A320 Airbus Fire Simulator for Gibraltar Airport has now been successfully completed. All parts were entirely fabricated within our UK workshops and then shipped over to Gibraltar Airport for installation.
The simulator is a full size version of an A320 aircraft containing the correct seating, overhead storage, galley and cockpit all fabricated to scale as found within an A320 Airbus and is a capable of demonstrating both internal and external fires. This will ensure the airports firefighters receive the most realistic training possible.
